Before pursuing dentistry full-time, Dr. Brier worked extensively in the field of social work. His early career was devoted to empowering individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental conditions. Whether it was teaching daily life skills or coordinating services as a case manager, Dr. Brier found fulfillment in helping others thrive with dignity and independence.

With the opening of Dental Care of Lucas, Dr. Brier sees an opportunity to merge his love for dentistry with his ongoing advocacy for the IDD community. “That’s why we’re proud to partner with My Possibilities, a remarkable area nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
