Job Summary:
Teach assigned workforce courses, including linked courses (credit/non-credit), in accordance with the course syllabus and college policy. Continue to update and revise course content and teaching methodology in order to maintain currency and relevance in the respective industry. Maintain familiarity with current texts, materials, teaching aids and techniques relative to courses within the discipline and recommend their adoption when appropriate. Establish professional relationships with respective industry partners to enhance student job and career readiness.Required Qualifications:

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, plus climbing and balancing. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises. Requirements
Associate's degree in discipline/qualifying field, OR
hold current licensure as a Master Plumber in the state of Texas.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in the field.
Teaching experience is desired.
Preferred Experience and Training:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience training Plumbers preferred.
Experience teaching adults in a classroom setting.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Safety certifications such as OSHA 30 or similar.
