Letter From Our CEO

It is a new and exciting day at the Allen Chamber of Commerce, with the vision of a promising future beginning to take shape. If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, my name is Kyle Jacobson, and I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your business very soon. I’d like to take a moment to share a few updates with you and invite you to play a key role in the future of your Chamber.

First, I have embarked on a mission to meet with 100 members during my first 100 days on the job. The goal is to build relationships, learn more about your operations, and better understand how the Chamber can be an asset for you and your business. If we haven’t met yet, please keep an eye out for an invitation in the near future. These relationships and feedback will be critical to our business community’s collective success.

Secondly, the Allen Fairview Chamber Board of Directors held its monthly meeting this week and approved a resolution of support for the upcoming Allen ISD bond proposal in November. The bond proposal seeks to enhance campus safety and security, invest in capital improvements across several Allen ISD campuses, and improve the district’s technology infrastructure. A safe, modern, and tech forward school district will equip the next generation of our area’s workforce with the skills and capabilities needed to excel in various career paths. The business community has a stake in the success of our community’s students.

Lastly, we are approaching a key deadline for your voice to be heard in the Chamber’s upcoming strategic planning efforts. We want to learn from you the most effective ways the Chamber can serve your business. If you haven’t already, please take just a few minutes to complete the survey linked here (survey closed 9/30/24). Your input is critical as we imagine the next chapter of the Allen Fairview Chamber.
